Factory Fifteen released Gamma, a project I was involved in developing, last week. Really great to see the whole thing together!

Lighthugger

A speed paint of how I imagined the 'LightHugger' Nostalgia for Infinity in Al Reynold's fanastic 'Revelation Space'. I planned to sketch this out a while ago, then I noticed on Al's blog he'd sketched out the Lighthugger and its dimensions, so this paint is based on those. Yellowstone hangs in the background (looking distinctly acid green) accompanied by the Rustbelt.

Jomon Dogu Speed Painting

A really quick speed painting I did of a Jomon Dogu Statue. It's just a copy-painting it from an existing image of one of the dogu statues (although I added a leg) - to study the light on the stone and the general characteristics of the figure. The Dogu statues are really fantastic, and have become interwoven into the borderline conspiracy meme of 'ancient astronauts'. More info on Jomon Dogu statues (plus more images) here.
